The corrosion-resistant fan is designed for corrosive environments where airborne chemicals, salt spray, or high humidity would degrade standard ventilation equipment. It employs specialized materials to ensure long service life and reliability.

Housing and impellers are fabricated from 316L stainless steel, PVC-lined steel, or fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP). These materials resist chlorides, acids, alkalis, and solvents. Sealed bearings and chemically compatible lubricants prevent ingress and premature wear.

Precision-engineered impeller blades maintain aerodynamic efficiency while resisting pitting and erosion. Optional coatings—such as PTFE lining or epoxy resin—provide additional chemical barriers. The fan supports wash-down cleaning with aggressive detergents without damage.

Applications include chemical processing plants, wastewater treatment facilities, desalination stations, and coastal HVAC systems. Modular design and quick-disconnect flanges facilitate maintenance and retrofit in corrosive service locations.
