Direct-drive explosion-proof fans mount the impeller directly on the motor shaft, removing belts and gearboxes to minimize mechanical losses and maintenance needs. The motor enclosure is certified Ex d to contain any internal ignition sources.

These fans deliver up to 150,000 CFM at static pressures up to 4 kPa. Sealed-for-life bearings and dust-tight housings protect internal components from moisture and particulate ingress.

Integrated variable frequency drives (VFDs) provide stepless speed control, matching airflow to sensor feedback for gas concentration and temperature, and enabling soft-start operation to reduce mechanical stress.
