Flameproof main fans are primary ventilation units designed with Ex d (flameproof) motor enclosures to prevent internal ignitions from reaching the external environment. They are deployed at mine shafts, processing plants, and tunnel portals.

Constructed with durable steel casings and balanced impellers, these fans deliver 100,000–500,000 CFM against static pressures up to 6 kPa. Anti-spark impeller coatings and robust sealing prevent dust and moisture ingress.

Integrated variable frequency drives (VFDs) allow on-demand airflow control, adjusting fan speed based on real-time gas, pressure, and temperature sensors. Soft-start functions reduce mechanical stress and extend component life.
