HVAC centrifugal blower

The HVAC centrifugal blower is a core component of air handling units (AHUs) and ducted ventilation systems in commercial and institutional buildings. It provides the static pressure necessary to overcome duct losses while supplying conditioned air throughout occupied spaces.

Featuring backward-inclined impellers and a scroll casing, the blower maintains high efficiencies—often above 75 %—at full and partial load. The housing is fabricated from galvanized or painted steel to resist corrosion and facilitate long service life.

Premium-efficiency IE3/IE4 motors, combined with variable frequency drives (VFDs), enable precise airflow control and reduced energy consumption. Integrated aerodynamically optimized inlet cones and outlet silencers minimize noise, ensuring occupant comfort.

Maintenance is simplified with split-casing designs that allow easy impeller and bearing access without disturbing duct connections. The HVAC centrifugal blower supports applications ranging from rooftop units and dedicated outdoor air systems to chilled water AHUs and makeup air units.
